Business Group Analyst

BUSINESS PURPOSE Support the business unit team with superior financial analysis, focusing primarily on the financial support of the regional operations for the business unit RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) Engage and partner with the regional/Japan finance team in supporting the business unit’s sales & marketing operations in Japan 2) Work with appropriate levels of management team to set & deliver the appropriate levels of returns of investment 3) Analyze monthly revenues & expenses from the region for key trends, and business opportunities. 4) Identify and understand the business drivers for variances to plan and provide monthly forecast for the region 5) Drive all business planning process pertaining to the long range forecast of the platform in the region 6) Own the preparation of fiscal year budget, quarterly business reviews & business planning processes for the region 7) Help implement any financial processes & ad hoc requests as required 8) Drive and participate in design, implementation and monitoring of preventative and detective internal controls and related processes REQUIREMENTS: 1) 8-10 years of financial analysis related experience 2) Degree in Finance or Accounting is strongly preferred. 3) MBA or CPA is preferred but not required 4) Outstanding tools skills required (Excel, Access, etc.) 5) Must possess excellent communication and problem solving skills, outstanding customer service orientation 6) Highly effective individual with the ability to juggle multiple projects and priorities at the same time 7) High energy, ambitious, self-starter

Japan Experience, Budgeting / Planning / Forecasting, Financial accounting, Financial Analysis, Financial Modelling, Project Management, Staff Supervisory skills, US Reporting - GAAP
